Help clean up the Wandle

It's that time again: waders and gloves on to help clean up the Wandle.

The Wandle Trust are looking for volunteers for this Sunday's clean up. They say:

It's that time again - this month we'll be returning to King George's Park in Wandsworth. To find out where to meet us, click below....

Meet here!

What to expect

As always, please arrive in time for our Health and Safety briefing at 11am.

We'll then get our waders on and work through until 3pm with a break at about 1pm for tea, coffee and cake provided by us. You may like to bring your own picnic lunch.

As ever, we're extremely grateful to Joanna and Michael and the rest of the Waste Management team at Wandsworth Council for their support in taking the rubbish away.

What to wear and what to bring

It is dirty work, so we recommend you wear old clothes and sturdy footwear such as walking boots or wellies. You may wish to bring a change of clothes in case you get wet!

We hope to see you there!
