Plans submitted for Alex McKenzie and Nabrasa sites

The closure of the Alex McKenzie newsagents has led to many questions about what would appear in its place. We are now closer to getting answers after a planning application was submitted covering both that site and the Nabrasa site.

The application has been submitted by Languard, property developers based in Battersea. They propose bringing the two sites together, changing the front facades, and extending the number of flats from two to eight. The ground and basement floors would be zoned for professional services and cafe/restaurant use. No mention of potential commercial tenants at this stage.

This is a prime site right next to the station, and ripe for an update. Watch this space.
