Korean/Indian pop up at Ben's Canteen

Billing itself as 'CollaborASIAN' (groan) two street food vendors are planning a one-night-only pop up at Ben's Canteen on Garratt Lane on December 11.

They say:

"For one night only, street food traders France & Noonan and Busan BBQ are combining their childhood flavours to create a menu of East meets East.

Expect exciting new combinations with big flavours that pack a punch.

Indian spiced crispy mung bean pancakes
Spicy Samosas
Filled with slow-cooked, spicy Korean style pork
KorIndian Cod Curry
Line-caught cod pieces, cooked in a KorIndian curry sauce
Gochujang chicken tikka
Sweet and spicy Korean chicken tikka
Doenjang Saag Aloo
Potato and spinach curry in a soy bean, spring onion and sesame sauce
Stuffed Parantha
Indian flatbread filled with a kimchi and minced pork filling
Kimchi and pickles
Poached pear tart
Cinnamon and ginger poached pear tart, served with vanilla ice cream and pistachio brittle."
