Help clean up the Wandle

It's welly time again!

"The Wandle Trust holds community river cleanups on the second Sunday of every month, usually rotating through the London Boroughs of Merton, Sutton and Wandsworth, as well as other occasional events.

Sunday 14th December 2014 – Trewint Street, Earlsfield
We’ll meet on the public footpath leading from Trewint Street HERE and after a health and safety briefing will sweep up the river.

If you’ve not been before, we’ll provide all the equipment you need: chest waders, wellies, gloves, litter pickers, bin bags and tools.  We’ll also provide tea, coffee, water, squash and cake.  You may, however, like to bring your own picnic lunch.  Please wear old clothes you don’t mind getting dirty or wet and a change of clothes, particularly socks is always a good idea."
