Making Your Mind Up about MEP elections

Who can resist some 1980s musical magic?

But there's a serious side (yes, really). Local and European elections are taking place on the 22nd of May. That's less than a month away! And while it's UKIP that's stealing the headlines, there's a full slate of candidates standing to be one of London's 8 MEPs.

Two local amenity societies, the Putney Society and the Wandsworth Society, have joined forces with several other local groups to arrange a hustings evening to hear from candidates from the five main political parties:
• Conservative Party: Dr Charles Tannock
• Labour Party: Ivana Bartoletti
• Liberal Democrat Party: Richard Davis
• UK Independence Party: Paul Oakley
• Green Party: Amelia Womack

Following introductory statements from each candidate there will be an extended Q&A session.

All are welcome. Putney Pantry, located within St Mary’ s church, will be open for refreshments before the meeting.

The hustings will take place on Thursday 1 May 2014 at 7.30pm at St Mary's Church, Putney Bridge, SW15 1SN.

More information on WandsworthSW18.com. If you haven't registered to vote, there's still time as you have until the 6th of May to do so.
