Wimbledon Park fireworks to go with a blast on Tuesday

If this year's Battersea Park fireworks haven't sated your appetite for sparkly lights and toffee apples, the Wimbledon Park display is your second chance.

On Guy Fawkes' night, Tuesday 5 November, Merton Council hosts two displays and two bonfires in Wimbledon Park. The event will go ahead whatever the weather.

Timings and details

• 5.15pm - Gates open.
• 6.30pm - First bonfire lit.
• 6.45pm - First fireworks display. Kids' TV and Film theme, more suitable for young children.
• 8.15pm - Second bonfire lit.
• 8.30pm - Second fireworks display. What a Blast theme.
• Fairground, stalls and refreshments open until 10.00pm. 

Tickets are only available at the gate:

• Adults - £8
• Under 16s - £6
• Under 4s - Free entry
• Family Ticket (2 adults, 2 under 16s) - £25
