"Pub of the Year" award for local business

The Pig and Whistle, on the corner of Penwith and Merton Roads, has won "Pub of the Year" at the Wandsworth Business Awards.

The inaugural Awards were presented at a dinner and ceremony on 7 November to celebrate Wandsworth's entrepreneurial spirit.

Business Launchpad, business start-up programme for young entrepreneurs, won the overall award.
