Swap donations for a drink at charity shop opening

Today a new charity shop opens on Garratt Lane near Southside shopping centre. Wandsworth Oasis aims to help people living in and around Wandsworth who are affected by HIV by raising money for support organisations.

They will be open from 5pm today, Thursday 19 September with a celebration event running from 5-9.30pm.  Local MP Sadiq Khan will cut the red ribbon at 6pm.

Locals are encouraged to drop off good-quality donations for a celebratory "glass of something". Pop in to see them with your clothing, accessories, books, DVDs, CDs, furniture, small electrical items, bric a brac, bedding, curtains, kitchenware etc.
