Find out the local history of one of Britain's first record companies

If Saturday's walking tour of Earlsfield has whetted your image for more, the Wandsworth Heritage Festival can deliver. There are events across the Borough, but the next one with an Earlsfield connection explores the history of Columbia Graphophone.

Talk: Making Records in Earlsfield

Organised by the Wandsworth Society

Using recordings and film, Dr. Tom Going looks back to the early 20th century when Columbia Graphophone, one of Britain’s first record companies, became a major employer in the local area.
