Earlsfield offices win best corporate workplace award

I've covered the new Banham Group offices elsewhere on this blog. The building is a great new addition to the area and I was really impressed with the use of space.

This has now been recognised by a regional gong from the British Council for Offices (who knew!), with Banham taking away the 'Best Corporate Workplace' award for London and the South East.

According to the organisers, the site "was praised for its attention to detail and clever maximisation of the site’s opportunities. Immediately evident when you enter the building is the occupants business and heritage making it a modern, efficient and secure place to work. The judges were also impressed with the building’s clever response to planning restrictions."

Banham is in impressive company with central city endeavours like the Leadenhall Building and CMS above Cannon Street station.

The regional winners will now go forward to the national awards on 4th October.

More of this, please, and less of the big yellow sheds (although possibly now withdrawn?).
