The parks development team wants local people’s
views to help draw up plans to improve each of the small parks across
the borough, and to ensure they are being properly managed.
There are 25 parks in total. You do not have to
live near the park, or use it every day. Even if you just visit once a
week, or pass through it on your route to work, your views will be
useful.
As well as giving your opinion, you can sign up to stay in touch with news and developments in your local park.
The council’s environment spokesman, Cllr
Jonathan Cook, said: “We are keen to ensure that as well as our large,
high-profile, parks, Wandsworth’s smaller parks remain important oases
in the heart of their communities, and provide a space where local
people can have fun and relax.
”Let us know how you use your local park, if you
feel they could be improved, and how well you think they are managed.
This will enable us to draw up plans to make them even better.”
The survey will run until August 31.
To take part follow the links from www.wandsworth.gov.uk/consult. There will also be posters put up in the parks with a QR code you can scan.
If you would prefer to fill in a paper survey, email Geraldine Kelly at parks@wandworth.gov.uk
