What's on in Earlsfield: Wandsworth Heritage Festival


The Wandsworth Heritage Festival is taking place between 24 May and 8 June. I've picked out a few local events but you can see the whole programme online, or pick up a copy at the library.
 

Wandsworth Prison Museum Open Weekend

Saturday 31st May & Sunday 1st June - 10am-1pm & 2-4pm each day
With over 160 years of history, this small museum contains a range of exhibits from
its earliest days to the present time. The displays include uniforms, photographs and
items relating to capital punishment, spies, traitors and World War II. This will be the
last chance to see the museum’s collection in its current location.
Museum is located at 27 Heathfield Road SW18 3HR

Twixt the Commons walk

Wednesday 4th June - 6.30pm (duration approx. 1.5 hours)
Organised by the Clapham Society
A walk between Clapham and Wandsworth Commons led by local author Timothy
Walker which will explore the changes between the 18th and 20th centuries.
Meet at Clapham South tube station

24th May -1st June
Displays at Balham, Battersea, Earlsfield, Roehampton & Southfields Libraries.
