Wandsworth Council is inviting local artists to take part in this year's Artists Open House event. Jenni writes:
Wandsworth Artists’ Open House 2014
Do you want to host your own show?
Wandsworth Artists’ Open House offers an exciting
and affordable exhibition opportunity for creative makers in Wandsworth
to show and sell work from their home or studio over 2 weekends in
October.
It’s a chance for visitors to enjoy a wide range of
arts and crafts in welcoming environments, meet artists, find out about
the work and buy from them personally.
Artists gain experience, can test new work and
develop their practice while connecting with local creative networks and
making new friends.
No venue to open or out on a limb? You may be able
to share space in another open house, or invite other artists to join
you at your house so as to increase the attraction for visitors.
Additionally, if you are a Wandsworth local and are
interested in hosting artists in your space we’d be interested in
hearing from you. In both cases please contact the Arts Team before
registering.

Early bird registration fee (until 16 June): £60
Regular registration fee (until 7 July): £65
Wandsworth Artists’ Open House is coordinated by
the Arts Team at Wandsworth Council in conjunction with an Artists’
Steering Committee of representatives from local area networks.

Monday 5 May - Open for registration
Friday 16 June - Early Bird registration closes
Monday 7 July - Final registration closes
Saturday 4- Sunday 5 October - Artists’ Open house
Saturday 11- Sunday 12 October - Artists’ Open house
